The geometric image that the "Sarah" character is drawing was something I came up with during my own "spellcasting" phase (which was very similar to what I describe here). I later came across Ram Dass' "Remember, Be Here Now", a stunning book (and hippie bible of sorts) which I had never seen before, and found virtually the same image on the cover!
